About
Roger Ross
Founder
Here’s the backstory on Roger. He’s a native of Cambridge, Illinois. While in college, he felt Christ’s call to ministry and has loved serving as a pastor in Texas, the British Channel Island of Guernsey, and Illinois. In Illinois, he had the thrill of leading teams that planted two new churches and served for ten years as the lead pastor of one of the largest United Methodist Churches in the Midwest.
Roger later moved across the river and served as the Director of Congregational Excellence at the Missouri Conference, leading teams to start new churches and transform existing churches across the state. He has also been a coach with Spiritual Leadership, Inc.
Today, Roger serves as the founder of The Humility Group, a coaching organization that equips pastors, faith-based leaders, and their teams to lead grace-shaped lives that transform the world. He also leads a network that brings pastors and leaders together to connect, innovate and thrive. Other passions include time with family, SCUBA diving in warm, blue water and traveling in different cultures. He also has a weakness for golf.
Roger is the author of four books:
Meet The Goodpeople: Wesley’s 7 Ways to Share Faith
Come Back: Returning to the Life You Were Made For
Come Back Participant Guide
Kinda Christian: From Curious to Serious About Jesus (See more below)
Now for the best part. Roger is married to Leanne Klein Ross, and they live near family and friends in Bloomington, Illinois. God has blessed them with two adult children, a son-in-law, and one adorable granddog. You can catch Roger’s weekly blog on living and leading like Jesus here or use the QR code.
Ashleigh Graff
Executive Assistant
Hi! I'm Ashleigh Graff, originally from Jacksonville, IL, and now call Springfield my home. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Health Studies with a Minor in Business Administration and my Master’s degree in Exercise Science, both from Eastern Illinois University.
I currently wear a few different hats. I'm a Preschool Teacher's Aide at St. John's Lutheran Preschool, an Exercise Physiologist at Springfield Memorial Hospital, a Travel Consultant with Island Travel, and my newest adventure is the role of Executive Assistant at The Humility Group – which I'm very excited about!
I love that my work allows me to help others grow, move and explore the world. I'm married to Travis, and we have four amazing kiddos who keep our lives full of joy and super busy! We're active members at Springfield First United Methodist Church. When I'm not at home, you can usually find me at an ice rink, swimming pool, or softball field cheering on my kids. Spending time with family, traveling and watching my children do what they love are what makes my heart happiest.
